Emily has been a passionate member of the speech therapy community since she graduated from Syracuse University in 2008. For the last 11 years, she has maintained an ASHA certificate of clinical competency and has worked in various clinical settings. Her experience ranges from treating pediatrics to geriatrics within the early intervention, school-based, and home health settings.
Emily continues to stay current in the latest advancements in evidence-based treatments through various continuing education programs. Emily has been specializing in functional communication, speech, and language training as well as cognitive and swallowing deficits, with individuals with a variety of developmental disabilities. Her treatment approach includes individualized and family/caregiver training to help facilitate the ever-changing needs of her client population.
Michelle has been a practicing physical therapist for the last 30 years. Her education and professional training took place at Russell Sage College and Sage Graduate School with specialized training in pediatrics and developmental disabilities.
She worked for multiple agencies providing home-based and clinical services to children and adults throughout Cayuga and Onondaga counties. Michelle has extensive experience working with patients with neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and developmental disabilities.
Areas of Interest: autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, infant massage, sensory integration, aquatic therapy, equine-assisted therapy, rehabilitative services, orthotics, adaptive equipment.
Availability: Monday -Thursday 8-5. Weekend appointments may be possible.
Anna received her graduate degree from Keuka College. Before going to school for social work, Anna has had experience working with children from the ages of birth to 10 years old. Anna recently has started to provide individual therapy in a private practice with a focus on working with children.
She also has experience working in the field of adult mental health through her field placement, ranging from working with clients with anxiety through depression and PTSD.
Areas of Focus: anxiety, self-esteem, relationship and personal safety, anger, behavior
Treatment Approach: CCPT, problem-solving, motivational interviewing, humanistic, art-based interventions.
Sarah received her Master's in Social Work from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY, and is available to serve Tioga County and surrounding areas for counseling and behavioral support services.
Sarah has over 25 years of experience working with people and families of all ages including those with developmental disabilities. In addition to parenting her own neurodiverse children, Sarah worked with the local Head Start and Universal Prekindergarten program as the Coordinator of Special Services and Mental Health. She then went on to work as a care manager and care manager supervisor with a local CCO.

TaraLee has 13 years of experience with people with developmental disabilities. Currently, as a children’s care manager for St. Joseph’s Hospital where she serves children and their families in Onondaga County who have chronic physical or mental health conditions. She has experience as a direct support professional teaching life skills to adults and children with developmental disabilities. TaraLee received her bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University and is currently in the master’s degree program at Keuka college.
Areas of Focus: family issues, life skills, trauma, social skills, health and wellness, crisis intervention.
Treatment approach: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Person-centered, mindfulness and skill-building.
Natasza is an MSW intern from Keuka College's advanced standing social work program. She received her bachelor’s in social work in May and immediately entered the master’s program to continue her education. During her bachelor’s program, she interned at the Auburn Problem Solving courts, helping offenders with their substance abuse and mental health problems.
Areas of focus: anxiety, depression, and coping skills.
Treatment approach: Natasza has specialized training in motivational interviewing as well as CBT but is excited to try all the different approaches she has learned.
Natasza will be commuting to her clients to provide services.
Veronica received her BS in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University, then went on to earn her MS in School Counseling through Capella University. While earning her MS, she also received a Certificate in Mental Health Counseling. Veronica has been working with individuals with developmental disabilities for over 15 years. She has been a Behavior Specialist for the last five years, providing behavioral support to individuals and their families in Broome and Chenango Counties. She previously worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support, providing behavioral interventions to children and adults. She has experience working as a Mobile Therapist, providing counseling and behavior support to children and teens. Veronica also has experience working with individuals in foster care, who have their own unique traumas. Veronica has experience with writing and implementing treatment plans and behavior support plans.
Areas of Focus: behavior support, autism, anxiety, family dynamics, social skills, coping skills, and behavior plans.
Treatment Approach: CBT, behavior supports, problem solving, person-centered and strength based.
